“You may recall that my husband and I were staying at the Shelburne Inn for his brother’s wedding there in May. At the time we had a 3 month old who was not taking a bottle. This was also the first time we were leaving her in the care of a non-family member. I was very nervous and quite stressed about our childcare for the weekend. It was a complete leap of faith for us to leave our only child, a newborn with a stranger, away from home during an important family event. Ultimately we were thrilled with the service we received from the Vermont Nanny Connection, but especially with Cindy. Cindy was amazing with our newborn. Not only was our daughter Charlotte happy with Cindy, but Cindy also had great success in getting her to take a bottle for the first time! This was a huge milestone for us – first bottle and babysitter! After the first night of working with Cindy we felt so relaxed about leaving our daughter in Cindy’s care the next night.

In fact, my husband and I were actually able to enjoy his brother’s wedding – we danced the night away and felt like a married couple again. It was wonderful. I only wish that Cindy lived in our town so we could work with her all of the time! She is truly a special person whom we are grateful to have worked with, even for just a short, but important period of time. I would highly recommend Vermont Nanny Connection and Cindy.
